The mystic of longevity:

Why are most men my age couch potatoes?

Because they have grown old: Both mind and body maybe I would have been the same:  Please read on it will be a life changing moment.  

 

Would you like live to a 100 - play golf and shoot in the low eighties ---- Well into YOUR eighties.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I never even think about age?

 

1.Could be that I am still super fit.

2.That I wake up every morning feeling on top of the world.

3.Weather permitting walk with my dog for miles in the Welsh mountain’s

4.Live in a lovely house, have a beautiful wife.

5.Have a life style that most can only dream off.

6.Have a job to I love ( Golf Coach)

7.Travelled the world, ( playing golf on amazing golf courses)  

8.Meet lovely people every day.

9.Drive fast cars –have a BMW  Cooper S .

 

If it had not been for a life changing opportunity things would have been very different.  

Forty years of age:

I was a miserable specimen, overweight, in poor shape all-round, in a job I hated, non-existent family life.  Health deteriorated, and I was rushed into hospital.

 

My consultant was to my amazement in his eighties. (Looked in his fifties) .

 

He had a presence, charisma, was tall athletic build, he was clearly held in high esteem by his peers. He took time to explain that I had Pernicious Anaemia, gave me assurance that with monthly injections of would be fine.

 

Looked me straight in the eyes and said “Do you want to live or die” after catching my breath “Live”

"Well the average life expectancy for men is sixty two – I am eighty two and expect to live well into my nineties.

No reason why you cannot do the same.  You can NOT just wish to do it, your need the WILL to do it and the correct believe and mind set.

Before we discharge you my PA will give you a copy of my golden rules for wellbeing and a long life.  Then it is up to you to show commitment determination to make these live changing decisions."  

 

Well I am living prove that those golden rules work.

I have an amazing life enjoy every minute.  

 

How often have you said or heard friends say 

“With the benefit of hindsight”

 

Well I have been there made many mistakes, which of course with the benefit of hindsight I would NOT do again.  

 

I have also taken decisions that have enhanced my life.

 

They say you cannot put old head on young shoulders, but that’s not true, if you were fortunate enough to have had grandparents, (They may not have been academics but the wisdom they had acquired over the years made their advice invaluable)  

I am here and happy to be your mentor:

 I may not be the Dalai Lama but I am old and with age you gain wisdom)

You can ask me any questions you like, I promise to give you my thoughts, to be honest in my reply. If it is out my remit then that’s what I would say.

You have everything you could wish for: Pristine courses drink stations every two holes, beautiful well trained caddies, lovely weather, top class service in the club house, and night life to you will NEVER forget.  (I should also mention there are resorts and beaches with white sand crystal clear blue sea, incredible diving, fishing, water sports, fast speed boats, your wildest dreams and fantasies all there for you.  Family advice - or a boys holiday of a life time ( What happens in Thailand Stay in Thailand. ) Not to sure this is part of the live to you are a hundred advice.

Just a few things to think about:

We are told that exercise is the main factor in good health, and weight loss.

Well I agree that exercise is a key element if it is the right exercise.

If you go to the gym, it is enclosed air conditioned environment, you run for 2 miles on the tread mill that burns just 200 calories.  (Have one Cappuccino and Black Berry Muffin you have just put back on 450 Calories)

We would recommend that you play a round of golf, enjoy the fresh air, you walk nearly 6 miles, burn 600 Calories, relived any stress you may have had due to pressure of work.

(Providing you are hitting the ball straight)  

 

Now this is where the

mind-set comes into play because what you do when you reach the club house will determine the benefit you have derived from the golf.

Things you have been told are good for you maybe they are doing you far more harm than good.  

Orange Juice (Processed) is not good.

You are far better to eat a fresh orange, which has juice and fibre.

 

DO NOT Eat processed foods.
