8: Tee it High & Let it Fly

Paramount to every thing else

Smooth swing, good balance, rhythm and timing, correct transfer of weight.

Develop timing tempo and rhythm, which will give perfect transfer of weight from right to left, ensuring a smooth powerful hit right through the ball in line with your target, do not look up until well after impact.

This is the dream of every golfer it can come true

One of the ways I recommend to keep you timing and tempo. Keep this saying in mind:
Normal speech!! My favorite saying is:

TEE IT HIGH AND LET IT FLY.

This the time it should take from the start of your back swing to the point impact on the down swing.
This WILL teach your mind and body to synchronize the key to a good swing is the same timing every time you swing. Once you have a repeat swing every time then you are a good golfer. - Envy of all your colleagues.

The saying Tee it and let it Fly is also a true saying.

Most us how play with the latest driver Ping 5 or Callaway ERC, they all have one thing in common large club heads, so we have become accustom to teeing the ball high in line with the sweet spot on you club.

The NEW 2006 Philosophy:

Tee up higher this will grantee more distance?
You need to make these changes to your Pre -shot routine.
Using a 2¾ tee: Tee up to 2" high. -Logo pointing at the target. At address you align the sweet spot on your driver with the ball, which will mean the club is above the ground.

This is new, relax your wrists allowing the club head to fall to the ground, (Do not worry now it will not be in line with your ball, no problem it should be in line with the toe of your club). Take a nice easy swing trust me the club will return on the correct line and impact with the sweet spot on your club.

Hit though the ball--- full extension of your arms this will now feel much easier, you will use the club as an extension of your arms perfect impact with the ball. You will get a stronger ball flight; the ball will fly higher and flatter for more distance.

Caution:

there is a tendency to cast e.g. bring the club down on an out to in path, is will impart spin on the ball and that = a slice. Just stay with the same tempo nice easy natural swing.
